Wale Album Release Party At Marquee – 11/9

Last night was the Attention Deficit (in stores today) album release party for Wale. Held at Marquee nightclub, the liquor was flowing and celebs like Serena Williams, Selita Ebanks, Melanie Fiona, Nate Robinson, DJ Drama and more came out to support the homey’s premiere album. Wale Is Chillen

DC native, Wale, is really growing on me. He’s been out for a while and with his recent acknowledgment as the future of Hip Hop in the 2008 Freshman Issue of XXL Mag and is just a couple of singles away from being on. This new track from him, Chillen, got a mean beat to it, which was produced by Cool & Dre’. I can see this song as his next video after Nike Boots. Listen and Acquire.
