Wonder if Twitter was around back in history. Historical Tweets is a great site showing tweets from back in the day and some from the present as well.

Sometimes you don’t need 140 characters to get your point across…[VIA]
People saying clever things on Twitter are always entertaining and worthy enough of “retweeting” the rest is pure BS and annoyance especially about 60% of the people I happen to follow. Nick Douglas decided take he best of the best and “RT” them right into this 176 page book, Twitter Wit. There will actually be a book release party held at Powerhouse Arena bookstore in BK on September 10th from 7-9pm. I plan on attending this shindig, buying the book and getting some of the Hornitos Tequila which will be gratis at the event.

Rob Hubel takes his Twitter Follow Friday sessions seriously. Watch how he stalks this guy. Comedy. [VIA]
Sometimes when I (@Jayev3ryday) get on twitter, there are a few people who are getting closer and closer to just getting unfollowed. The first person I did that to was @IAMDIDDY, he found out about twitter and went nuts and so did I and I had one less person to stalk. So if you notice that you’re follower list is one less and you were doing some reckless tweeting…you know who it is… Just let me know if you learned your lesson.
Time Magazine seems to think Twitter is changing the way we live. So much that they tweeted their cover. I have to admit that it did help me expand my contacts and show my photography work a lot easier. Time writer Steve Johnson says:
Injecting Twitter into that conversation fundamentally changed the rules of engagement. It added a second layer of discussion and brought a wider audience into what would have been a private exchange. And it gave the event an afterlife on the Web. Yes, it was built entirely out of 140-character messages, but the sum total of those tweets added up to something truly substantive, like a suspension bridge made of pebbles.
