The BlackRoc Project is a collaboration between Rock and Rap. The mashup consists of The Black Keys & some of the biggest names in hip hop, including; Mos Def, Q-Tip, RZA, Raekwon, Pharoahe Monch, Jim Jones, NOE, Nicole Wray and Billy Danze. This Blackroc Chevy Camaro was pimped and blacked out to create this sexy beast. If the album which dropped on Black Friday is as good as this car, I will be getting it soon. Bugatti 16C Galibier

Posted in Cars with tags on October 6, 2009 by jayev3ryday

There seems to be a trend of making exotic sports cars into 4 doors sedans/roadsters. The Bugatti 16C Galibier has a top speed of 220 mph, which for having 4 doors is amazing. This $1.5 Million 4 door Bugatti was a concept at once but will now be produced and is planning on releasing in 2013. Can’t wait to see this in the streets. [VIA]

This 0-60 mph in 4.8.sec, all electric Audi roadster is a thing of beauty. Recently revealed, the Audi R8 e-Tron is something I would love to see in the streets. It bears trademark LED lights and battery pack that fully charges in about 8 hours. The front grill glows in Tron like fashion making it ever better. More info over at World Car Fans. Maserati GranCabrio

Here is some Wednesday over the hump motivation to get your money up. This is the Maserati GranCabrio convertible 4 seater. This will be debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and available for purchase in two years or so. Here’s some tech jargon from AutoBlog:

Unlike the Ferrari California, the GranCabrio features a cloth roof that deploys over the four-place passenger compartment, saving both weight and space. In fact, it’s the first four-seat convertible in the company’s history, and boasts what Maserati says is the longest wheelbase on the market. The Trident marque has also chosen to fit the convertible with the 4.7-liter 433-hp V8 from the GranTurismo S, bypassing the base 4.2-liter unit and mating it to the highly-rated ZF six-speed automatic.

BMW X6 Goes Green

Posted in Cars with tags , , on August 14, 2009 by jayev3ryday

p90050145_highres-1280Introducing the BMW X6 High Performance Hybrid. If I make it big soon. This will be the one. I am conscience of the environment and conscience on BMWs style and this has it all.

The ActiveHybrid X6 will scoot to 60 in about 5.5 seconds while returning a 20-percent fuel mileage improvement over the standard X6 with its twin-turbo V8. To set the hybrid apart from its standard sibling, BMW will bestow the new fuel-saver with a power dome hood to clear the power electronics module and a bespoke metallic blue hue.
